Massage Therapy Insurance Coverage
Many insurance plans now cover Naturally Zuri, allowing more people to heal their bodies without worrying about the cost.
Currently Accepted Plans
If you have any of the following plans, your massage therapy sessions may be partially or fully covered.
NYSHIP
Empire Plan members may have partial or full coverage.
AETNA
Many AETNA plans cover therapeutic massage with a prescription.
FSA
Use your Flexible Spending Account card at checkout for eligible services.
HSA
Use your Health Savings Account card at checkout for eligible services.
What You'll Need to Use Insurance
Booking with insurance requires a prescription from a qualified provider, such as your physician (MD), a physician’s assistant (PA-C), or a chiropractor.
Prescription Must Include
- Prescriptions for massage therapy, not physical therapy, must be expressly written.
- Your full name and date of birth.
- A diagnosis code or condition.
- Start and end dates for prescriptions.
- Provider contact details and signature.
A copy of your insurance card, both front and back, must also be included with the prescription.
For HSA / FSA Payments
- Use your HSA or FSA debit card at checkout.
- Services must be medically necessary (for pain, stress, recovery, etc.).
